 The McCready Outpatient Center is a regulated Maryland hospital clinic under the jurisdiction of the Maryland Health Services Cost Review Commission.
State regulations require us to generate two bills for each patient visit. One is for your physician’s services. The other is for the use of hospital facilities. Your insurance company will issue two explanations of benefits, one for each.
Depending on your insurance plan you may incur a separate deductible or co-insurance payment for the facility-use charge. This is at the discretion of your insurance company and is not determined by McCready or the state of Maryland.
We realize this system can be cumbersome, but it is the only financially sound way McCready can make physicians available in Crisfield.
