The building fund for the new Alice B. Tawes Nursing & Rehabilitation Center took a major steps toward its $1 million goal -- thanks to the Bradshaw family of Crisfield. The Bradshaws presented a check for $1,500 – the first installment of a $3,000 pledge. Left-to-right: Frankie Pruitt, Bobbie Lynn Bradshaw, Betty J. Bradshaw, Robert H. Bradshaw Jr. and Mary Beth Bradshaw-Pruitt, who is placing the check into fund drive chairman Jay Tawes’ “ceremonial” hard hat.
