Crisfield businessman Jay Tawes chairs the building fund campaign for a new Alice B. Tawes Nursing & Rehabilitation Center at McCready. He was honored by the Crisfield Heritage Foundation – with a $1,000 donation to the fund in his name. Tawes accepts the check from Heritage Foundation executive director Christine Tyler at the museum named for his grandfather, the late J. Millard Tawes.
